The South Central Ambulance Service does much more than send an ambulance when you need it, and it relies on the generous support of local people and local businesses to enable it go above and beyond what the NHS funds it to do. All the funds we raise through the charity will be invested in services that are additional to the core NHS services provided by SCAS.
We need your help to enable us to train and equip our volunteers
The Trust is supported by over 1000 volunteers who provide a life saving service in their local community and who help drive frail and vulnerable patients to and from vital medical appointments.
We rely 100% on donations to the charity to recruit, train and equip these volunteers.
We need your help to enable us to train and equip local communities to save lives
The Trust works closely with local communities to provide and maintain life saving public access defibrillators in schools, sports clubs, pubs and shopping centres, and to run training and education projects that help give people of all ages the confidence to step in and help in an emergency.
We rely 100% on the support of partners in the local community to fund every public access defibrillator we install and for the lifesaving education and training we deliver to schools and communities across our region.
We need your help to enable us to develop and enhance the care we giveyou
The Trust is at the forefront of developing innovative new ways to provide emergency care such as connecting local care homes to paramedics and doctors by video link. Developing the 999 care of the future means investing in research, development projects and training.
Investing in state of the art equipment, research, training and innovation is only possible with the generous support of the public and local businesses for the South Central Ambulance Charity.
By Christmas 2019 we need to raise £1m to fund our volunteers, to equip our communities to save lives and to transform the care we give. Make a donation today and help to save a life.
