Our North MK and Villages CFR Scheme recently entered the Aviva Community Fund. The Fund offers communities the chance to get funding for an important cause in their area and entrants are asked to show what difference any funds they receive could make to their local community. Friends, families, supporters and the wider public then vote for the projects they want to see entered in to the finals. A judging panel then decide the final awards.

North Milton Keynes and Villages CFR scheme applied for funds to purchase new equipment for their Scheme including a Manger Elk lifting cushion to support their local community and for additional defibrillators.  Scheme member Louise Burgess led the application process for the group, creating a video presentation of the work of our CFR Schemes and how funding from Aviva would support their important work in the community.  The Scheme received 1590 votes and were chosen by the judging panel to receive £5000.   You can watch their winning video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8L6zCfIbkg

Our North MK & Villages CFR Scheme competed with over 800 local organisations around the UK to receive funding as part of the Aviva Community Fund 2017. The nationwide initiative which launched in September called upon passionate local residents to submit a project close to their heart to be in with a chance of securing funding ranging from up to £1,000 to £25,000

This is a fantastic result for our North MK Scheme and we would like to thank all those who voted for us and of course, to the Aviva Community Fund for their support. Thank you!
