Collection boxes in shops, offices and other local businesses really help us to hit our fundraising target. We can even claim back gift aid on the amount in each tin through the small donation scheme.

  • Please provide your organisation’s address, and not your home address.
  • If you would like to place a collection box in a local business, please ask an employee to complete the request form.

Collecting in public

If you are planning to collect on the street or any other public place you will needs specific permissions, and possibly a licence. Please use our registration form to tell us about your collection in advance. There are a number of guidelines that you need to follow.

Become a collecting box volunteer

If you think you could be responsible for distributing collecting boxes to a few shops and businesses in your local area, and for collecting them and banking the cash for us on a regular basis then we’d love to hear from you. Please fill in our volunteer enquiry form and we will be in touch to arrange to drop you off some collecting boxes and help you get started. If you agree to manage more than one box for us, we will ask you to follow our Collecting tin process for volunteers and to complete and return this Volunteer collecting tin log. This information helps us manage these cash collections safely.
